TPM (Total Productive Maintenance/Management) is a step-by-step and structured methodology used to achieve Zero Losses in the manufacturing/supplier chain process focusing on maintaining the best condition in equipment. One of the unique features of TPM is what is called Autonomous Maintenance, which is how shop floor Operators take care of equipment conditions through cleaning and inspection processes, which detect abnormal and minor defects which subsequently prevent equipment breakdowns and quality defects.
