1970 Factory establishment 1987 TPM initiation 1990 Certified for TPM Excellence 1st Category Award 1994 Certified for TPM Consistency 1st Category Award 1996 Certified for TPM Special Award The factory we will visit is located in Shiga Prefecture and serves as a major manufacturing base for one of the leading Japanese appliance manufacturers. It has been actively practicing Continuous Improvement since 1978, and started TPM implementation in 1987. The Shiga factory continues to advance on its continuous improvement journey as one of the key facilities within their enterprise group. During our visit, we will have the opportunity to observe numerous improvement ideas/cases that have contributed to being the top market share holder in their industry. |
